Back on Sept 24 when we cleaned the UMR, I found a dock on river-left just downstream from ShelHaven Livery in this location:

44.688849, -84.846860

Link to Google Maps that shows these locations:

As you can see there is a subdivision just downstream from this spot.

The river comes very close to the road here:

44.687886, -84.849566

That's where we will drop the pieces.

Thursday looks like a good day.  Cool but no wind and sunny.

My plan is to go out with three or four people in 2 or 3 canoes (only).   Find the dock.   Pull it out and cut it into pieces and float it out in 2 or 3 canoes to the road location and leave it there.  Then, either takeout there, which may not be a good idea without permission, or paddle down to Hole In The Wall (2 hours) or Yellow Trees (4 Hours) for a Fall paddle outing.

Then we'll swing back by the house and grab the dock pieces with a small utility trailer.

I can get the canoes, paddles and waders we will need, so you won't need to bring a boat - just your own personal safety gear and water.

Any interest in helping with this project?
